In the year of our lord and savior 2019, I am all about coming together and uplifting people in the African American community. If you read my post highlighting the black mommy bloggers you should be following on Instagram, you already know where I’m going. I am a habitual uplifter, and now more than ever we are required to put ourselves out there, in front of everyone and show that we aren’t afraid to create our own spaces.
I, much like everyone have loved Disney since I was a little girl. My earliest Disney memory is at 2 years old when I saw my first (I’m assuming) Disney movie in theaters and the love has continued long and strong since then. When I joined the Disney Moms of Color community I was excited to connect with so many other women of color who aren’t afraid to share their love for all things Disney. I almost feel as if in the black community Disney was seen as unattainable for so long and it’s great to connect with people who aren’t afraid to spread the pixie dust!
From the best places to stay, to Disney on a Dime these families are showing off their Disney side and I’m loving every single second of it!
