Fall is unarguably, the best season. Pumpkin (and pumpkin spice), the smell of change and the best holidays! Fall activities are a family favorite and honestly, it’s the best time to get out. The weather is perfect, there’s so much to do and fall desserts are delicious! While we tend to switch up where we pick pumpkins here in NYC, there are a few activities that we try to keep consistent. Here are a few ideas for fall activities the whole family is sure to love.
Fall Activities for the Whole Family
- Take a day trip/road trip to check out fall foliage (My friend Tomiko over at Passports and Grub listed some great spots to check out fall foliage in The Smokies and Arkansas)
- Jump in a BIG pile of leaves (and rake them up!)
- Make leaf art with paint
- Go apple picking
- Make apple pie/cider
- Paint with apples
- Go to the pumpkin patch
- Go to the corn maze
- Make Jack-o-lanterns
- Go trick-or-treating
- Visit a haunted house
- Roast pumpkin seeds
- Make a gratitude list
Here’s a fun checklist that you and your family can print out and check off as you go. Save it, or click below to download the printable.
