Could You, Would You in YOUR House? Green Eggs and Ham Review

It wasn’t until I became a parent that I realized just how long Dr. Seuss books are. And my kids love a good reading of Go Dog Go! I actually went the route of trying to get the smaller, shorter board book version of some of the classics. But they are still drawn to the originals, same as I was as a kid. Though I had never read Green Eggs and Ham to them.

When I realized this story was being adapted into a series, emotions were mixed. Confusion, because how can you make a 13 episode series out of one book? Excitement because well… my childhood. And I just love that so many opportunities are being created to share the things we loved with our children in new ways. We are a Netflix family. So I knew this was going to be a show we’d love to watch together.

Archibald’s Next Big Thing is THE NEXT Show You Need to Watch With Your Littles

You guys already know that my littles and I LOVE Netflix. I’m not gonna lie though these kids are not easy to convince to try something new. If I let them they would watch Into the Spiderverse, Motown Magic, Twice Upon a Christmas and Gnome Alone in rotation all day. So over the weekend when Archibald’s Next Big Thing started streaming it took a little convincing. I don’t blame them, you like what you like. But mommy’s vote outweighs them all so when it was family time to Netflix and chill, I was ready to see what Archibald was up to.

20 Movies Now Streaming on Netflix Kids that Are Perfect for Halloween


I am admittedly a scaredy cat but Halloween feels like the official start of the holiday season to me and thus, it is a favorite. I love dressing up the boys, taking them out and then hiding and eating their candy for days. We are always looking for movies to get us into the spirit of ANY holiday really, so our Netflix subscription stays paid. When I was younger I used to look forward to Halloween on the Disney channel. Now thankfully, platforms like Freeform give us 31 days of Halloween (check out the lineup from my friend Sanaa). But since I’m positive I have some cord cutters I’m passing on the streaming options.
