The official trailer for Secret Life of Pets 2 released early this morning and I may or may not have woke everyone up early so we could watch it together like we’ve been doing since they started. Secret Life of Pets has always been RJs favorite movie. It’s one of those movies your kids forced you to watch on replay so many times you couldn’t help but love it. So when I found out a second one was coming out this year, we have been counting down. We have filmed every reaction video together and honestly I didn’t want to wait until after school to watch this one. I have been DYING to see what Max and Katie are up to. The trailer did not disappoint! Check it out with our reaction below.
You guys can see clearly I’m hype and RJ is still asleep haha. Did you guys notice right away Katie had a baby? I love that Tiffany Haddish is also in this movie. I think the way that her and Kevin Hart support each other is amazing and she is a super fun addition to the cast. RJ isn’t a big fan of Rooster but that’s because he’s too young to appreciate Harrison Ford. AND DID Y’ALL HEAR THE INTRO?! I’m STILL walking it out! This is going to be a super cute movie and I know we’re going to have to get it on digital and all that! Until then, we’ll be watching this trailer on repeat, okay?!
The Secret Life of Pets 2 will follow summer 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy will produce the sequel to the comedy that had the best opening ever for an original film, animated or otherwise. The Secret Life of Pets 2 will see the return of writer Brian Lynch (Minions) and once again be directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me series, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax).
