Did it Live Up to the Hype? #AllThatisBack – Season Premiere of All That

When I found out All That was coming back, I didn’t know how I should feel. 2019 is basically 1999 all over again and some people hate it. I on the other hand am reveling in all that is my childhood. At 8:29 I turned off Disney Junior, and I told my 4 year old to prepare to watch something REALLY GOOD (I was hoping). I was not about to miss the season premiere of All That.

About All That

In the event you live under a rock, All That was Nickelodeon’s longest running live-action series with 171 episodes across 10 seasons from 1994 to 2005. The franchise paved the way for a number of successful spinoffs including Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show and The Nick Cannon Show, the feature-length film Good Burger, as well as audio recordings, books, festival tours, and numerous reunions celebrating the show’s impact on pop culture.

With the 2019 reboot of the “Saturday Night Live”-like show, viewers can expect to once again see some of the show’s original cast members, like Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg and Josh Server, reprising some of their most memorable roles, including Ed from “Good Burger,”  Ms. Hushbaum from “Loud Librarian” and more. On top of seeing today’s top artists and the return of fan-favorite stars, there will also be an all-new cast of kids, ranging in age from 12 to 15, on “All That.” They’ll be bringing their own unique comedic styles and skill sets to the Nickelodeon series and will be taking part in new sketches that are sure to become instant classics.

My Thoughts on the Season Premiere of All That

The target audience for the reboot of All That is said to be ages 6-13. I wasn’t completely sure about it but I let RJ watch it anyway. He’s almost 5, and he likes watching prank videos on YouTube. He’s basically the target audience. I’m gonna be honest I was way more into it than he was. He did say “mommy this is funny” about 10 minutes into the show but then he went back to watching Minecraft on Netflix. However, I watched the entire 30 minutes and laughed the whole time. It was great to get to see classics like Good Burger and Vital Information, but I loved the new skits that were added also. Cancelled with Nathan is an entire mood and will probably be my new favorite thing ever! I’ve already gifed it on Twitter. This was the perfect mix of nostalgia and a new direction.

All That is Back and it is going to be an instant hit for tweens! And even if it isn’t, us 90s babies enjoyed every single minute of it!

I didn’t even realize this was both Zayn and Brielles first time to the aquarium. Zayn was excited to see the sea Lion show. Brielle was not feeling the shark tunnel lol. It was a cute experience and took about 2 hours.

Do you have an aquarium in your city? Have you been to the NY aquarium?

Do you plan out the days or just go with the flow?

I like to plan things but if I’m being honest… my kids just want to go to the pool and if there’s a waterpark?! Even better! So I’ve become a lot more “go with the flow”. Plus, I love the water too! 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

P.S. isn’t the walkway to enter Aqua Nick @nickresortrivieramaya gorgeous? The lazy River goes right over it!

Does your family have a favorite waterpark? Or are you more of an amusement park family?
