A couple nights ago, the first screening for Captain Marvel took place and the reactions have been awesome! The lucky few took to Twitter (I love it) to share just how amazing the film is. My favorite part of all the reactions? The nod to the 90s. I’ve already talked about how 2019 is going to be such an amazing and nostalgic year for us millennial babies and I’m glad that Captain Marvel is bringing some of that feel to the big screen also. Check out some of my favorite reactions below.

#CaptainMarvel is an explosion of color, hope, and fists with a side of wry humor and a dream of a soundtrack. Carol Danvers’ story hit me in ways I did not expect.
And also: Goose is everything. pic.twitter.com/qYoMFkMA0R

I FUCKING LOVED #CAPTAINMARVEL

Its very different than most of the MCU films and so very 90s. It's funny and fun and super empowering. It made me feel proud to be a woman.

Also, as a 90s teen, the soundtrack….oh, the soundtrack ❤

And in news that is very true to my brand, I would die for Goose the cat. #CaptainMarvel

If those reactions don’t get you hype, you’re crazy!

Being 100% honest, I’m not the biggest comic book fan out there.Truthfully, I know nothing about the Marvel Universe until it comes to the theaters. So seeing these reactions along with the awesome trailers we’ve seen has me pumped. I cant wait to see Goose, bump to the 90s soundtrack and see Brie Larson bring to life everything she worked so hard for. If no one else, Captain Marvel is the super here that I need, and March 8th couldn’t get here fast enough.

Speaking of hard work, check out this amazing featurette where Brie talks about training to become Carol Danvers.

Discover what makes a hero when Captain Marvel arrives in theaters everywhere, March 8th 2019!

From big feelings to small moments they are literally learning how to be adults by watching us. They deserve a childhood they don’t have to heal from so that they can grow to be the best adult versions of themselves.
