If you have been on the internet at all recently you have probably seen that Romper, the leading destination for millennial moms is hosting their first ever Camp Romper festival. More exciting? They are coming straight for us NY mamas! When the email about Camp Romper slid into my inbox I was MORE THAN excited because I am always looking for things for us to do especially now in the fall before it gets TOO cold. Camp Romper is rolling around right at the perfect time, between back to school and the beginning of Fall to give moms and their kids an opportunity for a day full of fun-filled memories.

When and Where?

Sunday, September 22nd

12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The LeFrak Center at Lakeside

Prospect Park, Brooklyn

The Camp Romper Experience

Camp Romper is Romper’s all-encompassing family experience with a host of thrilling activities for kids and parents. The first-ever day-long camp will take place on Sunday, September 22 in Prospect Park, and is jam-packed with entertainment, excitement and adventure for kids (and adults!) of all ages.

Some of the activities that will be there:

  • Arrive early to enjoy yoga for the whole family courtesy of Athleta Girl! Yoga will kick off at 12:30PM with a kid-friendly yoga practice with Colleen Saidman Yee, followed by a guided meditation, all set to the sounds of DJ Rashida. The first 200 guests will also receive a special surprise compliments of Athleta Girl.
  • H&M will be customizing T-shirts with fun screen printed affirmations for your little ones. They’ll also be collecting unwanted garments on-site to be reworn, reused, or recycled via their Garment Collection Program.
  • Celebrate life’s purest moments in the DairyPure® Mess Hall. Parents and kids can enjoy carnival games, an Instagram-worthy milk slide, and a milk truck serving up cereal, cookies, and mini-doughnuts.

And so much more! There will also be complimentary roller skating, boat rentals, face painting, balloon animals. Plus I heard there will be music all day to inspire your littles and keep those bodies moving!

Wednesday is pay by donation day.

I didn’t even realize this was both Zayn and Brielles first time to the aquarium. Zayn was excited to see the sea Lion show. Brielle was not feeling the shark tunnel lol. It was a cute experience and took about 2 hours.

Do you have an aquarium in your city? Have you been to the NY aquarium?

Do you plan out the days or just go with the flow?

I like to plan things but if I’m being honest… my kids just want to go to the pool and if there’s a waterpark?! Even better! So I’ve become a lot more “go with the flow”. Plus, I love the water too! 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

P.S. isn’t the walkway to enter Aqua Nick @nickresortrivieramaya gorgeous? The lazy River goes right over it!
