Admittedly, back to school 2020 is looking different than any other year. We are in the midst of so many things happening this year and the uncertainty surrounding school is stressful in and of itself. Combine all of that with the confusion of WHAT to buy for back to school and my brain.. could implode. Do I buy uniforms or pajamas? New sneakers or slippers? Backpacks or iPads? I don’t think any of us are completely sure. Nonetheless, I do have some tried and true places where I pick up clothes for the boys all year round. Here are our favorite places to shop for the boys back to school clothes.
Target
Need I say more? Target is an everything shop! But it is our definite go to for uniform pants for our (almost) 6 year old. Cat and Jack tends to be our go to brand for many reasons.
- The knees of the uniform pants are reinforced. Super important because obviously kids learn at school on their knees nowdays.
- The color doesn’t fade and the quality holds up.
- Even if my child somehow manages to destroy his clothes (and kids always find a way), did you know Cat and Jack clothes come with a warranty?
The Children’s Place
You may or may not know that my son started preschool at 3. Technically, before he turned 3. School goes by birth year here in NYC. Anyway, both of his preschool years we got all his polos from The Children’s Place. They have an entire uniform shop and they always have a sale. Plus there are perks if you join their rewards program.
Primark
Primark unfortunately isn’t a store that you can shop online. But for good reason! It is part of the reason Primark is able to keep their in store prices SO LOW. Now, I will admit that we have never bought uniform items from this store. But, we regularly shop Primark for our whole family. From sweatpants, to jeans and some of the boys favorite graphic tees and shorts we are OBSESSED with that store. And their prices start at incredible rates! Im talking 3/4 dollar incredible.
