You guys already know that my littles and I LOVE Netflix. I’m not gonna lie though these kids are not easy to convince to try something new. If I let them they would watch Into the Spiderverse, Motown Magic, Twice Upon a Christmas and Gnome Alone in rotation all day. So over the weekend when Archibald’s Next Big Thing started streaming it took a little convincing. I don’t blame them, you like what you like. But mommy’s vote outweighs them all so when it was family time to Netflix and chill, I was ready to see what Archibald was up to.
About Archibald’s Next Big Thing
DreamWorks Archibald’s Next Big Thing follows the adventures of Archibald Strutter, a chicken who ‘yes-ands’ his way through life. Though living in the moment often leads him astray, Archibald always finds his way back home to an egg-shaped house in the center of Crackridge he shares with his three siblings, Sage, Finly, and Loy, and his trusty sidekick, Bea. Archibald’s Next Big Thing is a fresh comedy about the importance of being present and celebrating the journey, not just the destination. With each twist and turn, this gangly, happy chicken shows everyone around him how important it is to get out of your comfort zone and see the best in everyone and every situation.
Family Review of Archibald’s Next Big Thing
I thought the show was super cute! There are lessons on lessons for everyone. Archibald’s love for his friends and family shine throughout the series. You are reminded to live in the moment, be true to yourself and be positive! As an optimist I love how Archibald could find the good in every situation and encouraged his siblings to do the same.
RJ: It was funny and I liked the the bee and the show with the race car.
Zayn… y’all know he doesn’t talk enough to give a review! But the show kept his little toddler attention and that is not always an easy feat. I told y’all, he would watch the same shows on repeat if I let him!
Archibald’s Next Big Thing is now streaming on Netflix. Have you watched it? What did you think?
