The price for Disney + is set for $6.99/month or $69.99/year
What recent releases will be available on the service?

What about Netflix’s Disney content?
Netflix’s contract with Disney ends at the end of this year. So films such as COCO will most likely be removed from Netflix’s service.
What Star Wars content will be available on Disney+?
All of the Star Wars films are scheduled to come to Disney Plus. A new season (which will conclude the series) of Stay Wars: The Clone Wars is also set to be available for streaming. John Favreau is also set to be directing a live action show set after the fall of the empire entitled The Mandalorian. An additional show is set to be released in 2021.
What Marvel content will be available on Disney+?
Three new live action series based off of the success of Marvel’s Avengers are slated for Disney+. These include a Loki series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision. The Avengers you love and know will all be reprising their roles for each series. There has also been recent discussion of Hawkeye also getting a series.
How does the Disney/Fox merger affect Disney+?
Since Disney’s acquisition of Fox it now owns Fox, X-Men and 60% of Hulu. This means most of Disney’s content on Hulu will most likely remain there. All 30 seasons of The Simpsons will be available for streaming on Disney+.
What else will be available on Disney+?
In addition to everything stated above, there are a series of live action shows set to be released within the first two years of service. These include a High School Musical series, a series based off movie Love, Simon and Diary of a Female President. There are also documentaries such as Be Our Chef a Disney inspired cooking competition and the Magic of Animal Kingdom an inside look by National Geographic at the care of animals at Disney’s park.
